The Coronavirus has forever changed the lives of the entire world. Not only are people having to stay home, but many businesses have also shut down. Here in Connecticut, we’re also dealing with a higher infection rate, so a specific focus on slowing the spread has made these mandates even more necessary.
In the midst of this global pandemic, however, humanity has also shown up to truly exemplify the power that gratitude and a helping hand can have. All over the world, people are pouring out their appreciation for frontline workers and those who are risking their lives each day for the greater good of their neighborhoods and of the world.
Helping Our Communities
Horberg Industries is standing here with all of you as we battle this global crisis. Our team is working hard to maintain productivity and safety, and to show our appreciation, we’ve teamed up with Food For the Front Lines in Greater Connecticut, to spread love via donations.
The mission has taken off and delivers meals to health care workers in Connecticut who are at the front lines during this medical crisis. Funding provided by donations is also helping CT restaurants who are facing hardships during this crisis.
“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much” ~ Helen Keller
Horberg’s donations have helped deliver lunches to the West Haven Veteran’s Hospital in partnership with Dockside Brewery. Most recently, Horberg and Dockside once again partnered to provide meals to all the hardworking people on the front lines at Bridgeport Hospital’s Milford Campus.
Additional donations were also used to assist with a large delivery of comfort food from Spice Catering Group to Griffin Hospital.
We will get better together!
Donations are still being accepted! Let’s work together to support local businesses, thank those on the front lines, and keep the amazing acts of kindness going!
