Our team just wrapped up an exciting few days at Design-2-Part in Long Beach, CA, and it was one of the most engaging shows of the season. From meaningful conversations with engineers and buyers to deep dives into how advanced technologies are reshaping the manufacturing landscape, this year’s event was all about collaboration and innovation.
At Horberg Industries, we’re proud to bring more than 90 years of precision craftsmanship to the table — and even prouder of how that legacy continues to evolve. Visitors to our booth were eager to learn how we’re integrating AI-driven technology and advanced process automation into our work without losing the human expertise that defines our products.
Some of the most talked-about capabilities we showcased included:
- Real-time quality monitoring to ensure unmatched consistency
- Predictive analytics and adaptive controls that fine-tune processes on the fly
- Smart material optimization designed for aerospace-grade alloys
- Automated process adjustments that reduce waste and improve overall efficiency
The response was clear: the future of precision manufacturing isn’t about choosing between technology and tradition — it’s about leveraging both. By pairing the knowledge gained over nearly a century of manufacturing with new digital tools, we’re producing dowel pins and precision components with tolerances that were once considered out of reach.
A big thank-you to everyone who visited us at Booth 345 and shared insights, questions, and ideas. Events like Design-2-Part remind us that innovation thrives when industry leaders, suppliers, and customers work together.
We’re already looking forward to carrying this momentum into our next projects — and continuing to push the limits of what’s possible in precision manufacturing.
